Genetic Bank of the Institute of Vertebrate Biology

DescriptionThe Genetic Bank of the Institute of Vertebrate Biology, The Czech Academy of Sciences (IVB) holds currently a collection of ca. 5000 animal tissue samples available for genomic research. The collection is constantly growing, focusing mainly on central European vertebrate fauna. Since 2015 the bank is part of the Global Genome Biodiversity Network.
