DescriptionThe Museum of Zoology at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador holds currently a collection of 2.000.000 animal specimens. Its core collection focuses on the fauna of Ecuador but it comprises samples collected worldwide. The DNA bank is a member of the Global Genome Biodiversity Network (GGBN).
